After defeating the two monsters, Barroth and Daimyo Hermitaur, return to Oasum for an event with Dr. Manelger.
Next, follow Cephadrome.
Pursue Cephadrome
Follow Cephadrome to the sandstorm area in the desert to trigger an event.
Win the battle against Cephadrome.
VS. Cephadrome
Dark Cephadrome is a monster that primarily uses Power Attacks.
When it burrows into the ground, use sound-based items or skills to seal its actions.
After Defeating Cephadrome
You will ha ve to battle Barroth EX next.
Barroth EX uses Speed Attacks, so Technical Attacks are effective.
When it covers itself in mud, it will use Power Attacks, so respond with Speed Attacks.
After Defeating Barroth EX
After defeating Barroth EX, an event with Cheval will occur.
Next, defeat Diablos in Albarax.
VS. Diablos
Diablos is a monster known for its high attack power.
At first, it will use Power Attacks.
When Diablos burrows into the ground, use sound-based skills to seal its actions.
After Defeating Diablos
The temple is restored, and an event with Cheval begins.
After the event, talk to Chief Nolma.
Bring a Rock Breaker
Next, bring a monster with the Rock Breaker ability to trigger an event.
Water returns to the town, and talking to Chief Nolma will grant you the Rider's Flute.
Try an Expedition Party at the Stable Paw
By taking 5 Monsties on an expedition, the story will progress.
After finishing the conversation, talk to Lilia.
Talk to Captain Simone
Talk to Captain Simone at the Hall of Scriveners to discuss Dovan Volcano.
Go to Dovan Volcano from the Hunter's Guild.
At the Port
At the port, you will reunite with Rathalos.
After returning Rathalos to its original state, fly to Dovan Volcano on Rathalos.
