Talk to Dan in Hakum Village
In Hakum Village, you'll engage in a double battle with Dan and an Aptonoth.
Aptonoth uses Power Attacks.
Dan uses Technical Attacks.
Velocidrome excels at Speed Attacks.
Determine the attack types to fill up the Kinship Gauge.
After defeating Dan
After defeating Dan, you'll be able to participate in Network Battles.
Attempt these after completing the game and preparing your monsters.
Help the fallen Cata vaner
When you talk to the fallen Cata vaner, a request to defeat Yian Kut-Ku will appear.
Head to the other side of the lake.
VS. The Veteran
The Veteran is a monster that specializes in Technical Attacks and Fire Balls.
Use Power Attacks while timing your Speed Attacks carefully.
After defeating The Veteran
Return to Monster Dan and enter the nest.
Although you won't find eggs of strong monsters like in rare nests, clear The Veteran's nest to complete the quest.
The Veteran Type 2
The Veteran Type 2 uses Technical Attacks twice, followed by a Speed Attack.
After defeating The Veteran, talk to the Cata vaner.
You will gain access to the Cata van Stand, which will be useful for your adventure.
Return to Hakum Village and Talk to Dan
After returning to Hakum Village and talking to Dan, talk to Chief Omna.
After the conversation with Chief Omna, go to the Carefree Youth to trigger an event.
Head to the Forbidden Land
Head north from Pondry Hills and go to Whistill Forest.
Continue north through Whistill Forest to reach the Forbidden Land.
Battle with Nargacuga in the Forbidden Land
In the Forbidden Land, a battle will begin with a Nargacuga tainted by darkness.
Nargacuga is a monster that uses Speed Attacks and skills to boost its attack power.
Nargacuga Type 2
When you deal damage to Nargacuga, it transforms into Type 2.
After defeating Nargacuga, an event will occur where the Kinship Stone glows, and the crystals tainted by darkness return to their original state.
Let's Go to Vantage Hill
After resolving the issues in the Forbidden Land, head north from the crystals to reach Vantage Hill.
An event will begin along the way, and after the conversation, a new adventure will start.
